What to submit

In accordance with Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 22 May 2017 “On measures to further improve the system of postgraduate education”, applicants are asked to submit the following documents.

For doctoral studies (DSc) applicants

Application
Brief biographical information
Copy of the employment record bookCertified in the established manner (for employed applicants)
Copy of diplomasHigher education, and a Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or an equivalent academic degree obtained abroad
List of published scientific works and their copiesAt least 3 scientific articles published in scientific journals and 2 theses that may form the basis of the dissertation research
Scientific report on the research topic
Detailed draft of the dissertation plan (rationale)Prepared for the doctoral dissertation for the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree
Foreign language certificateA nationally or internationally recognised certificate confirming B2 level

For basic doctoral studies (PhD) applicants

Copy of the employment record bookCertified in the established manner (for employed applicants)
Master's and bachelor's diplomas with their supplementsIssued by a higher education institution
List of published scientific works and their copiesAt least 1 scientific article in scientific journals and 2 theses that may form the basis of the chosen dissertation research

    Documents are sent through the unified electronic system daraja.ilmiy.uz.

    Hand in the originals

    The originals may be handed in as a document folder to the university's Department for Organisation of Research Activities.

    Take the entrance exams

    Entrance exams are held in the established order. Prepare using the exam programme for your specialty.
