4. Legal Basis for Processing

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Partner universities — for 2+2 and exchange programs (with your consent)
- Government authorities — as required by Uzbekistan law (Ministry of Higher Education, tax, migration)
- Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, payment processing (under data agreements)
6. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary. Student academic records are retained permanently as required by education law. Application data for non-enrolled applicants is kept for 3 years. Financial records are kept for 5 years. Website analytics data is retained for 26 months in anonymized form. After retention periods expire, data is securely deleted.
7. Data Security
We protect your data with SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, regular security audits, firewalls, and staff training. Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel only. In case of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by Uzbekistan law.

Under the Law on Personal Data of the Republic of Uzbekistan, you have the right to:

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular the Law on Personal Data. Disputes shall be resolved through direct communication with TIU first, then through the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
