The mini-football team of Tashkent International University is actively participating in the “Student League” futsal competition held among higher education institutions in Tashkent. This tournament aims to promote sports among students, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen teamwork and competitive spirit.
The competition is organized by the Uzbekistan Football Association and brings together teams from various universities across the city. The tournament is being conducted at a high level, requiring strong physical preparation, discipline, and teamwork from all participants.
On April 20, during the opening stage of the competition, the TIU team played against the team of D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology. Demonstrating a confident and well-coordinated performance, the team secured a convincing 3:0 victory.
The team continues its participation in the tournament and is preparing for the upcoming matches. Such sporting activities contribute not only to students’ physical development but also to building discipline, responsibility, and determination.
