“Ribbon of Honor” Campaign Held in Celebration of the Day of Memory and Honor

A “Ribbon of Honor” campaign was organized at Tashkent International University in celebration of May 9 — the Day of Memory and Honor.

On May 9 — the Day of Memory and Honor — Tashkent International University proudly hosted the "Ribbon of Honor" campaign, a heartfelt tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of those who gave their lives for the peace and prosperity of our nation.

From the early hours of the morning, university representatives, faculty members, and enthusiastic student volunteers gathered at the entrance of the campus to welcome arriving teachers and students with a powerful symbol of gratitude — the "Ribbon of Honor" badge, adorned with the national flag of Uzbekistan, pinned close to the heart.

More than just a symbolic gesture, this initiative was a living reminder that the freedoms we enjoy today were earned through immeasurable sacrifice. The campaign sought to ignite a deeper sense of patriotism, nurture respect for national heritage, and inspire the younger generation to carry forward the values of unity, gratitude, and historical memory.

The atmosphere across the university was one of warmth, reflection, and pride — a moment where the entire university community paused to honor the past and recommit to the values that define us.

The "Ribbon of Honor" campaign stands as yet another testament to Tashkent International University's enduring commitment to shaping not only knowledgeable professionals, but conscious, responsible, and proud citizens of Uzbekistan.
