Students of Tashkent International University participated in an international roundtable discussion held at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis under the theme: “Transparency, Digitalization, and Citizen Participation in Parliamentary Activity: Uzbekistan’s 35-Year Development Path and the Experience of Germany.”

The event brought together representatives of parliament, youth organizations, experts, researchers, and students to discuss modern approaches to parliamentary governance, openness in public administration, and the role of digital technologies in strengthening communication between the state and society.
During the roundtable discussion, participants exchanged views on improving transparency within parliamentary activities, implementing digital tools in legislative processes, and increasing citizen participation in decision-making mechanisms. Special attention was also given to studying advanced international practices and adapting effective foreign experiences to national development processes.

TIU students actively participated in the discussions and gained valuable insights into parliamentary systems, democratic reforms, digital transformation, and civic engagement. The event allowed students to better understand how modern governance systems operate and how digitalization contributes to transparency, accountability, and effective public communication.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of youth involvement in public administration and emphasized the role of educated and socially active young people in shaping the future of democratic institutions.
Participation in the international roundtable became an important educational and professional experience for students, helping them strengthen analytical thinking, broaden their international perspective, and deepen their understanding of modern political and management processes.
